Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, a city in Hennepin County. It lies just west of the Mississippi River and is a northern suburb of Minneapolis. It is primarily a residential community. The Brooklyn Park area was first settled in the 1840's, and it remained largely rural until after World War II.
