Homemade Butter Recipes: Hot & Spicy, Scallion & Chili-Mustard

 
INGREDIENTS

Hot & Spicy Butter 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 tablespoon chopped onion 2 to 3 teaspoons hot pepper sauce 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice Scallion Butter 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion tops 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Chili-Mustard Butter 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 tablespoon chopped onion 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon chili powder

PREPARATION:

  1. For each butter sauce, combine ingredients in small bowl.
