Logan, Utah, the seat of Cache County. Logan is 67 miles (108 km) north of Salt Lake City, and is 4,535 feet (1,382 m) above sea level. Textiles, canned goods, farm equipment, and cheeses are produced in Logan. Utah State University is here. Logan Canyon and Cache National Forest are nearby. Logan was settled by Mormons in 1859 and incorporated in 1866. It has the mayor-council form of government.
