Geography of Orem
Orem, Utah, a city in Utah County. It is in the north-central part of the state near Utah Lake, about six miles (10 km) north of Provo. Orem is in a truck-farming region. The town's main industry is vegetable canning. Its steel and electronics industries are also important. Orem was settled in 1861 and incorporated in 1919.
