Geography of Antioch-California
Antioch, California, a city in Contra Costa County. It lies near the mouths of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers, about 40 miles (64 km) northeast of San Francisco. The city is a processing and shipping center for produce grown in the surrounding agricultural region. It has the mayor-council form of government. Antioch was settled in 1849 and incorporated in 1872.
