Creamy Fruit Blend Recipe: Simple & Delicious

 
INGREDIENTS

1 ripe medium banana, peeled and quartered 1 cup fat-free (skim) milk 1 small ripe peach, peeled, pitted and quartered 1/2 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened strawberries 1/2 cup white grape juice 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon almond extract Fresh fruit (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Process all ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.
Variation Other fruit can be substituted in this recipe. Try raspberries, blueberries, nectarines or pineapple for your own special combination. If fresh peaches are not available, you may substitute 2/3 cup frozen peach slices that have been partially thawed.
