Geography of North Providence
North Providence, Rhode Island, a town in Providence County. It is a suburb of Providence, lying just north of that city. The town has a number of small enterprises engaged in manfacturing, particularly the making of costume jewelry. Peter Randall State Park is here. North Providence was settled as part of Providence and was made a separate town in 1765.
