Geography of Chicopee
Chicopee, Massachusetts, a city in Hampden County, at the junction of the Chicopee and Connecticut rivers. Chicopee has been an important manufacturing center since the 1790's and has highly diversified industries. Westover Air Force Base is northeast of the city. Chicopee was first settled in the 1630's. It has the mayor-council form of government.
