PREPARATION:
- Melt margarine in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and water; stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil; cover and cook 3 minutes.
- Uncover pan; continue cooking mixture to soft-crack stage (275°F on candy thermometer). Do not overcook. Pour hot mixture over popcorn; stir with wooden spoon.
- Spread popcorn in single layer on sheet of foil to cool completely. Break apart.
