Geography of Rockville
Rockville, Maryland, the seat of Montgomery County, 15 miles (24 km) north-northwest of Washington, D.C. Rockville is primarily residential but is the trade center of an agricultural area. Rockville was incorporated in 1860. It has the council-manager form of government.
