Geography of Hollywood

Hollywood, Florida, a city in Broward County. Hollywood is a resort city on the Atlantic Ocean, 16 miles (26 km) north of downtown Miami. Attractions include miles of beaches; deep-sea fishing facilities; horse, dog, and stock-car racing tracks; a jai-alai court; and many golf courses. Hollywood was founded in 1921 by Joseph W. Young.
