Joe Davidson's Oklahoma Joes World Champion Brisket Recipe

 
INGREDIENTS

RUB black pepper salt onion garlic powdered worcestershire sauce brisket

PREPARATION:

  1. Trim all but 1/4 inch of fat off brisket.
  2. Liberally apply BBQ Rub.
  3. Cook at 260 degrees using indirect heat for four hours. Flip hourly.
  4. Wrap in foil then cook another 3 hours at 275-300 degrees.
  5. Remove from heat and leave in foil for an hour before slicing and serving
