Cacus
Cacus, in Roman mythology, a three-headed, flame-spouting giant. He was the son of Vulcan and Medusa. When Hercules was bringing the red oxen of Geryon from Spain, he rested near Cacus' cave. While Hercules was asleep, Cacus stole some of the oxen. So that Hercules would not be able to track them, Cacus pulled them backwards by their tails into his cave. The oxen gave the trick away when they answered the lowing of the rest of the herd. Hercules strangled Cacus and got back the stolen oxen.
