Bellevue, Washington, a city in King County near Seattle. It lies between Lakes Washington and Sammamish and is linked to Seattle by two highway bridges. Bellevue is primarily a residential suburb. Growth has been rapid since 1960, when the population was slightly less than 13,000. Bellevue was settled in the 1880's.
