Geography of Sasebo
Sasebo, Japan, a city in Nagasaki prefecture on the island of Kyushu. It lies on an inlet of the East China Sea about 600 miles (965 km) southwest of Tokyo. Sasebo is an industrial center and a port and has both Japanese and United States naval bases.
