Geography of Shizuoka
Shizuoka, Japan, the capital of Shizuoka prefecture, about 90 miles (145 km) southwest of Tokyo, Shizuoka is the trading and processing center for an agricultural area that produces tangerines and green tea. The city is noted for its lacquer-ware and bamboo goods. Shizuoka University is here.
