INGREDIENTS
1/2 pound ground turkey or ground beef 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken or beef broth 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce 1/2 cup uncooked small shell pasta 1 teaspoon chili powder or Cajun seasoning 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1‑1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetablesPREPARATION:
- Brown turkey in medium saucepan 6 to 8 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat. Drain fat. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, pasta, chili powder, basil and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
- Stir in frozen vegetables. Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, 5 minutes or until pasta is tender. Serve immediately.
