Easy Shrimp with Strawberry & Snow Pea Stir-Fry Recipe

 
Shrimp with Strawberries and Snow Peas

Prep and Cook Time 20 minutes

YIELD Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 pound peeled medium shrimp 1/4 pound snow peas 2 ounces fresh bean sprouts, rinsed 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar 2 teaspoons oyster sauce 1 cup strawberries, washed, hulled and quartered 2 cups hot cooked rice

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add vegetable oil. Cook and stir shrimp, snow peas, bean sprouts, garlic and ginger 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp is opaque and bean sprouts are crisp-tender.
  2. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and oyster sauce in small bowl; add to skillet. Cook and stir 1 minute or until brown sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in strawberries. Serve over rice.
