YIELD Makes about 6 round waffles
INGREDIENTS
2‑1/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 cups milk Strawberry Sauce (recipe)PREPARATION:
- Preheat waffle iron; grease lightly.
- Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Combine eggs, oil and milk in medium bowl. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until moistened.
- For each waffle, pour about 3/4 cup batter into waffle iron. Close lid and bake until steaming stops.* Serve with Strawberry Sauce.
