Easy Microwave Oatmeal Recipe - Quick & Healthy Breakfast

 
INGREDIENTS

1‑3/4 cups water 1/3 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats 1/3 cup oat bran 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine water, oats, oat bran, sugar, cinnamon and salt in large microwavable bowl (cereal expands rapidly when it cooks). Cover with vented plastic wrap.
  2. Microwave on HIGH about 6 minutes or until thickened. Stir well. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
