Geography of Twin Falls
Twin Falls, Idaho, the seat of Twin Falls County. It is in the Snake River Valley, about 115 miles (185 km) southeast of Boise, the state capital. Twin Falls is the trading and processing center for a productive irrigated farming and stock-raising area. The city was founded in 1905, taking its name from Twin Falls on the Snake River.
