Geography of Coeur D'Alene
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the seat of Kootenai County. It is on Coeur d'Alene Lake, 33 miles (53 km) east of Spokane, Washington. The city is the center of trade for the Idaho Panhandle and is the headquarters of Coeur d'Alene National Forest. The beautiful lake surrounded by mountains attracts tourists, hunters, and fishing enthusiasts. Coeur d'Alene was incorporated as a city in 1906.
