Geography of High Point
High Point, North Carolina, a city in Guilford County 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Greensboro. High Point is one of the largest furniture manufacturing centers in the United States. Many hosiery mills are also in the city. High Point University is here. High Point was laid out in 1853 and incorporated in 1859.
