Geography of Attleboro
Attleboro, Massachusetts, a city in Bristol County, about 30 miles (48 km) south-southeast of downtown Boston. Attleboro is noted for its jewelry and silverware manufacturing. Other industries produce electronic equipment, precision instruments, and paper and metal goods. Attleboro was settled in 1634, incorporated in 1694, and granted a city charter in 1914.
