Geography of Tijuana

Tijuana, Mexico, a city in Baja California state, just south of San Diego, California. Its nightclubs, bars, shops, horse and dog races, bullfights, and jai alai games attract large numbers of tourists from the United States. Tijuana is also a manufacturing city whose products include electronic equipment, household appliances, and foods. Much of the manufacturing is done, primarily for export, in plants established in and near the city by foreign companies, mainly since the early 1980's.
