Geography of Sarina
Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, the seat of Lambton County. It lies near the southern end of Lake Huron on the St. Clair River opposite Port Huron, Michigan. A railway tunnel and the Bluewater Bridge connect the two cities. Sarnia is a port and an industrial center, producing mainly refined petroleum and petrochemicals. Other products include synthetic rubber, plastics, and automobile accessories. Sarnia was settled in the early 1830's and was then called The Rapids. The name was changed to Port Sarnia in 1836 and to Sarnia in 1886. The city was incorporated in 1914.
