Geography of Burlington
Burlington, Canada, a city in southeastern Ontario at the western end of Lake Ontario. It is about five miles (8 km) north of Hamilton, to which it is connected by the Burlington Bay Skyway. Burlington is primarily residential, but is partly industrial. It was settled in 1810 and was incorporated as a town in 1914 and as a city in 1974.
