Easy Wasabi Glazed Salmon Recipe | Simple & Delicious

 
INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons soy sauce 1‑1/2 teaspoons wasabi paste or wasabi prepared from powder, divided, plus additional to taste 4 salmon fillets with skin (6 ounces each) 1/4 cup mayonnaise

PREPARATION:

  1. Prepare grill or preheat broiler.
  2. Combine soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste; mix well. Spoon mixture over salmon.
  3. Place salmon, skin sides down, on grid over medium coals or on rack of broiler pan. Grill or broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 8 minutes or until salmon is opaque in center.
  4. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and remaining 1 teaspoon wasabi paste; mix well. Taste and add more wasabi, if desired. Transfer salmon to serving plates; top with wasabi mixture.
Tip Wasabi is sometimes referred to as Japanese horseradish. It has a fiery flavor.
