Easy Marinated Beef Skewers Recipe | Quick & Flavorful

 
INGREDIENTS

1 boneless beef top sirloin steak (about 1 pound) 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons dry sherry 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 18 cherry tomatoes Lettuce leaves (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut beef crosswise into 1/8-inch slices. Place in large resealable food storage bag. Combine soy sauce, sherry, sesame oil and garlic in small bowl; pour over steak. Seal bag; turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. Soak 18 (6-inch) wooden skewers 20 minutes in water.
  2. Preheat broiler. Drain steak; discard marinade. Weave beef accordion-fashion onto skewers. Place on rack of broiler pan.
  3. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 4 minutes. Turn skewers over; broil 4 minutes or until beef is barely pink in center. Garnish each skewer with one cherry tomato; place on lettuce-lined platter. Serve warm or at room temperature.
