Saucy Steak and Potatoes

Saucy Steak and Potatoes from Hunt's® features cube steaks, simmered with seasoned potatoes in a rich tomato gravy.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound beef cube steaks, cut in half 1 tablespoon Pure Wesson® Vegetable Oil 1/2 package (32 oz each) frozen Inland Valley® Simply Shreds™ O'Brien, thawed 2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce 1 cup beef gravy Sour cream and chopped fresh parsley, optional

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook steaks in hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned on both sides.
  2. Add potatoes, tomato sauce and gravy; mix well. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Garnish with sour cream and parsley, if desired.
