INGREDIENTS
1 cup maple-flavored syrup 3 eggs 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 tablespoon butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts 1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish pie shell Nondairy whipped topping or whipped cream (optional)PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Beat syrup, eggs, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Stir in walnuts. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until center is firm. Cool 2 hours on wire rack. Top with dollops of whipped topping, if desired. Store in refrigerator.
