YIELD Makes 8 to 10 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 egg 3 tablespoons blackberry jam Powdered sugar Additional blackberry jam (optional)PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9-inch glass pie plate; line bottom of plate with waxed paper. Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
- Combine dough, granulated sugar and egg in large bowl; beat until well blended. (Dough will be sticky.) Spread dough in prepared pie plate; smooth top. Stir jam in small bowl until smooth. Dot top of dough with jam. Swirl jam into dough using tip of knife.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until edges are light brown and center is set. Cool at least 5 minutes in pie plate on wire rack.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into wedges just before serving. Serve with additional jam, if desired.
