Geography of Goldsboro
Goldsboro, North Carolina, the seat of Wayne County, 45 miles (72 km) southeast of Raleigh. It is a tobacco center, and manufactures wood, iron, and steel products. Goldsboro was settled about 1840. It has the council-manager form of government.
