Geography of Beloit
Beloit, Wisconsin, a city in Rock County near the southern border of the state. It is on the Rock River, 90 miles (145 km) northwest of Chicago, and is a winter sports center. Its products include diesel engines, automobile parts, paper-making machinery, and shoes. Beloit College is here. The city was founded in 1838.
