Lake Nipissing

Nipissing, Lake, a lake in southeastern Ontario, Canada. It is midway between the Ottawa River on the east and Georgian Bay, an inlet of Lake Huron, on the west. Lake Nipissing's area is 350 square miles (906 km2). Including an arm called Barlow Lake, it extends 55 miles (89 km) from east to west; its greatest width is about 15 miles (24 km). Lake Nipissing is fed by the Sturgeon River from the north, and empties into Georgian Bay through the French River.
