Athabasca, Lake, a lake in Canada, in northern Saskatchewan and Alberta. It is about 200 miles (320 km) long and up to 40 miles (64 km) wide. Its area is 3,064 square miles (7,935 km2). The lake is fed mainly by the Athabasca River and drained by the Slave River.
