The Vistula
Vistula (Polish: Wista), a river in Poland. From its source in the Carpathian Mountains in southwestern Poland the Vistula follows an S-shaped course of about 680 miles (1,094 km). It flows generally northward through Poland to the Baltic Sea by way of an extensive delta east of . The Vistula has several tributaries, including the San, Nida, and Narew rivers.
