Geography of Bandung
Bandung, Indonesia, the capital of the province of Java Barat. It is the cultural center of the Sundanese, the people of western Java. Bandung is also a major manufacturing and educational center and a tourist resort. The city was founded by the Dutch early in the 19th century and grew rapidly in the 20th.
