INGREDIENTS
One 1-pound bag navy beans, soaked overnight 1 large onion, cut up 1 ham bone for seasoning 2 beef boullion cubes 2 teaspoons dried savory 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash (more or less to taste) 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cans whole potatoes, drainedPREPARATION:
- Mix all of the above ingredients, except canned potatoes, in a crockpot. Add enough water to cover ingredients by about 1 inch. Cook on low setting, until beans are tender.
- Add canned potatoes and cook an additional 20 minutes. Serve this hot and hearty meal in bowls. Great for cold winter weekends.
