INGREDIENTS
2 pounds red potatoes, peeled* and cut into 1-inch chunks 6 cloves garlic, peeled 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 1 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste 1/2 teaspoon white pepper *For more texture, leave the potatoes unpeeled.PREPARATION:
- Place potatoes and garlic cloves in large saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat; simmer about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain well in colander; return to saucepan. Add butter; mash potatoes. Stir in sour cream, salt and white pepper.
