INGREDIENTS
1 package (18-3/4 ounces) chocolate cake mix plus ingredients to prepare mix 1 cup whipping cream, chilled 1/3 cup chocolate syrupPREPARATION:
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour into prepared 17x11-inch jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Beat whipping cream with electric mixer at high speed until it begins to thicken. Gradually add chocolate syrup; continue beating until soft peaks form.
- Using a ruler or square cookie cutters, cut 10 each 3-inch squares, 2-inch squares and 1-inch squares. Place 1 (3-inch) square on serving plate. Spread with frosting. Top with 2-inch square. Spread frosting and top with 1-inch square. Frost sides and top of cake. Repeat to form 10 cakes. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
