Marie Louise

Marie Louise, or Maria Luisa (1791–1847), the second wife of Emperor Napoleon I of France. She was the daughter of Emperor Francis I of Austria. Marie Louise married Napoleon in 1810, and their son, called Napoleon II although he never ruled, was born in 1811. After the exile of Napoleon I to St. Helena in 1815, Marie Louise was duchess of Parma, Piacenza, and Guastalla, 1816–47. She remarried twice after Napoleon's death.
