Rainier III
Rainier III, (1923-2005), Prince of Monaco from 1949 until his death. A member of the reigning Grimaldi family, Rainier succeeded his grandfather, Prince Louis II.
Prince Rainier was married to the American motion-picture actress Grace Kelly in 1956. They had three children—Princess Caroline (1957), Prince Albert Alexandre Louis Pierre (1958), and Princess Stephanie (1965).
