Everett, Washington, the seat of Snohomish County. It is on Puget Sound, just north of Seattle. Everett is a major center of aircraft assembly and produces electronic equipment and lumber. The city is served by a deepwater port, Puget Sound ferries, a railway, and an Interstate highway. Everett was founded in 1890.
