Georgian Bay, a northeastern arm of Lake Huron, in southeastern Ontario. The bay is nearly separated from the lake by Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin Island. Georgian Bay is about 125 miles (200 km) long, up to 60 miles (97 km) wide, and as much as 420 feet (128 m) deep. In the bay are Georgian Bay Islands National Park and the myriad islets that make up the Thirty Thousand Islands.
