Islamabad

Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Located here, in addition to the National Assembly building and government offices, are the National Library, the University of Islamabad, and the Grand National Mosque. The city was founded in 1961 and became the capital in 1967. Islamabad is divided into eight zones, including administrative, diplomatic, business, and residential.
