Cleome
Cleome, a genus of annual herbs and shrubs that produce clusters of strong-smelling flowers. The most popular garden species is the spiderflower. It is cultivated for its pinkish-white, yellow, purple, or green flowers. The spiderflower grows to five feet (1.5 m) tall. The Rocky Mountain bee plant, a wild species found in the northwestern United States, has pink or reddish flowers with long stamens. It produces large amounts of nectar that attracts bees.
