INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon paprika 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper 1 small beef brisket, trimmed (about 1-1/4 pounds) Texas BBQ Sauce (recipe)PREPARATION:
- Combine paprika, salt, black and red pepper in small bowl; mix well. Rub spice mixture onto brisket. Cover; marinate in refrigerator overnight.
- Prepare Texas BBQ Sauce; set aside. Prepare grill for direct cooking.
- Place brisket on grid. Grill, covered, over medium heat 2-1/2 hours or until brisket offers a slight resistance when pierced; check occasionally and baste with sauce as needed. Boil any remaining sauce and serve on the side for dipping.
