INGREDIENTS
1/2 pound asparagus, trimmed, rinsed and dried* 2 teaspoons olive oil 1/8 teaspoon salt Pinch freshly ground black pepper *For a more attractive appearance, peel the bottom half of each stalk with a potato peeler.PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 450° F. On cookie sheet with sides, toss asparagus with olive oil. Add salt and pepper, and toss again. Arrange asparagus in single layer on cookie sheet.
- Broil until partly browned and tips are beginning to crisp, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
