YIELD Makes 30 candies
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup golden raisins, chopped 1/2 cup pitted prunes or dates, chopped 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon grated orange peel 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk 1 cup shredded coconutPREPARATION:
- Combine raisins, prunes, graham cracker crumbs, sugar and orange peel in medium bowl. Stir in condensed milk. Refrigerate until firm enough to shape into balls, about 30 minutes.
- Place coconut in shallow bowl.
- For each candy, shape scant tablespoonful fruit mixture into 1-inch ball. Roll in coconut.
- Store in refrigerator.
